        Turkestanone is one of the most biologically active ecdysteroids naturally found in Ajuga turkestanica, which can effectively assist in protein synthesis and metabolism. Recent studies have shown that turkesterone is more potent in promoting protein synthesis and muscle building than other ecdysteroids.

 

        Turkesterone is also a molting hormone. Ecdysone is a steroid hormone commonly found in arthropods and insects, but may also be present in some plant species.
